Sobhraj to be sent to France via Qatar Airways today 6 pm

KATHMANDU: The government of Nepal is preparing to extradite notorious international criminal Charles Sobhraj to France.
Janardan Rijal, senior immigration assistant of the tourist visa branch of the immigration department, said that air tickets have also been arranged to send him today.
“Air tickets have been arranged,” he told Makalu Khabar, “and I am heading to the ministry now to finish up the rest of the preparations.”
Lawyer Gopal Siwakoti, who petitioned the Supreme Court for Sobhraj’s release, told Makalu Khabar that a 6 p.m. flight from Qatar Airways to France had been arranged.
He’ll travel to France via Doha, Qatar.
