KATHMANDU: The winner of the first edition of Nepal T-20 Cricket League tournament will receive a cash prize of 55 lakhs.

The Nepal Cricket Association (CAN) held a press conference and announced that the winner would receive 55 million on Friday.

Similarly, the runner-up will receive 3 million in cash, the third will receive 10 million, and the fourth will receive 5 million.

Likewise, the series winner will receive 5 million, while the best bowler and batsman will each receive 250,000.

The emerging player will receive 180,000, according to CAN.

The tournament, which will be held at the TU Cricket Ground, will begin tomorrow, Saturday. The first edition of the competition will feature six teams.

The first edition features Kathmandu Knight, Pokhara Avengers, Far Western United, Janakpur Royals, Biratnagar Super Kings, and Lumbini All Stars.

In the opening match of the tournament, Pokhara Avengers and Kathmandu Knight will meet on Saturday. Lumbini All Stars and Far Western United will compete on Saturday itself.
