MoHP instructs health decks at entry points to be on alert

KATHMANDU: The government has directed that the health desks at Nepal’s entry points be prepared. On Thursday, the Ministry of Health issued a statement in which it issued this instruction.

The Ministry has also stated that if a new variant of COVID-19 is confirmed in neighboring countries, monitoring should be increased, and it is coordinating with the relevant countries on this.

According to Dr. Samir Kumar Adhikari, the ministry’s co-spokesman, all health desks and health institutions at the entry point have been instructed to conduct necessary screening, vigilance, and be prepared.
