It is believed that she drowned while playing in a pond near her home.
KATHMANDU: A 18-month-old child drowned in a pond in Saptari.
The deceased has been identified as Neetu Kumari Sada, daughter of Ram Kumar Sada.
She drowned in a public pond in Saptari, Rajgadh Rural Municipality-5 Malekhpur, on Tuesday afternoon.
It is believed that she drowned while playing in a pond near her home.
The police are conducting the necessary investigations in this regard.
