Biratnagar Airport Road sanitated to develop a model road

BIRATNAGAR: Airport Road in Biratnagar-4 has been sanitate in order to make it a model road.

The sanitation was done, according to the metropolitan, as the garbage would have a negative impact on visitors arriving by plane in Biratnagar.

Jitan Thapa, Ward Chairperson of Ward No. 4, stated that in addition to cleaning, illegal structures built along the road had been removed.

He stated that cleaning is taking place in all 19 wards under the leadership of Metropolitan Mayor Nagesh Koirala, and that the airport road has been cleaned as part of the same campaign.

“Keeping this road clean will benefit visitors arriving by plane in Biratnagar,” he explained. We cleaned this road today as part of that campaign.”

The road was washed with fire engines in addition to being cleaned of dirt and dust. Bishnu Prasad Koirala, the metropolitan’ chief administrative officer, and ward members participated in the cleaning campaign.

Sanitation was carried out from Dharan Road to the Airport Gate.

Locals were also pleased after the city cleaned the streets. Works such as installing lights and laying tiles are being carried out as part of the road beautification campaign.

Biratnagar has been divided into three areas: north, middle, and south, and the city is continuing its cleanliness drive.
