Laxmi Group conducted CSR at Cerebral Palsy Center, Dhapakhel on the occasion of its 49th anniversary

KATHMANDU: On the occasion of the 49th anniversary of the Laxmi Group, Laxmi Intercontinental, one of the subsidiaries of the Laxmi Group and the sole authorized distributor of Hyundai Vehicles distributed stationery supplies, furniture, and other materials to more than 50 Children to the Cerebral Palsy Center at Dhapakhel, Lalitpur.
The materials were distributed in accordance with the center’s requests. Hyundai Nepal has long supported the group, in line with Hyundai Motor’s global mission of “Mobility” for all.
Hyundai Nepal believes that clean “mobility” is a basic right for everyone, including people with disabilities, and wants to provide disadvantaged groups with easy mobility through its CSR initiatives.
Furthermore, with the goal of long-term empowerment of the children and others in the Self-Help Group for Cerebral Palsy, Laxmi Intercontinental signed an agreement to construct a multipurpose workshop that will allow people associated with the center to create customized furniture and other materials on their own.
Laxmi Group began with the production of sweets with Laxmi Mithai Bhandar in 1973 and has grown into a distinguished group of companies known for quality products and services ranging from confectioneries to trading.
The organization is also known for its strong belief in and participation in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in order to give back to the community.
For quite some time, the group has conducted CSR activities on its anniversary without fail, while pursuing business excellence and long-term support for many social initiatives.
