Former PM Nepal recuperating from chest infection

KATHMANDU: Former Prime Minister and CPN (Unified Socialist) Chairperson Madhav Kumar Nepal is recuperating from chest infection. His fever has come down normal. He has started eating soft food.

Chairperson Nepal was admitted to the Maharajgunj-based Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital (TUTH) on Tuesday after he was diagnosed with chest infection and common cold.

Chest specialist Dr Santa Kumar Das-led team has been involved in the treatment of leader Nepal.

Nepal’s personal secretary Mohan Gautam informed leader Nepal would be kept at the hospital until complete recovery.
