Supporters of Deuba in Poudel parliamentary party elections

KATHMANDU: Ram Chandra Poudel, a senior Nepali Congress (NC) leader, has backed Sher Bahadur Deuba in the election of the parliamentary party leader of the party.

Poudel, who registered his nomination in the NC today for the election of the parliamentary party, supported Sher Bahadur Deuba as the leader of the parliamentary party.

Following the general election, Poudel expressed strong ambitions for the position of Prime Minister.

He also expressed his desire to Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba on several occasions.

However, after Deuba failed to give the green signal, he raced.

Paudel is one of the old leaders who have been active in Nepali politics for a long time. He has not, however, been able to rise to the top of the party or the government. He previously ran for prime minister 17 times.
