President to administer oath to JB Rana, the senior member of HoR

KATHMANDU: The President is going to administer the oath to JB Rana, a senior member of the House of Representatives (HoR).
The President’s Office has prepared to administer the oath to the newly elected senior member of the HoR Pashupati Shumsher JB Rana on Wednesday or Thursday morning.
According to Tika Dhakal, the communication expert of the President’s office, President Bhandari is scheduled to visit Butwal on Thursday.
Therefore, preparations are being made to take the oath on Wednesday or Thursday morning.
The senior members of the HoR will have to take the oath before administering to the 275 MPs elected.
The Federal Parliament Secretariat has scheduled the swearing-in program of MPs on Dec 22 at 1 pm.
JB Rana is 81 years old.
