KATHMANDU: On the third day of weekly trading today, the price of yellow metal (gold) in the Nepali market has decreased.

The price of gold decreased by 100 rupees per tola on Tuesday, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Traders.

On Tuesday, the price of Chhapawal gold remained at Rs 1 lakh 400 per tola. Likewise, the price of acid gold has remained at 99 thousand rupees per tola. Earlier on Monday, there was no change in the price of gold.

Gold prices remained unchanged earlier on Monday. On Monday, Chhapawal gold was bought and sold at Rs 1 lakh 500 per tola, as it had been the previous day (Sunday), and Tejabi gold at Rs 1 lakh per tola.

Silver prices fell by Rs 5 per tola on Tuesday, to Rs 1,375 per tola. Earlier in the day, silver was purchased and sold for Rs 1,380 per tola.
