NC’s Parliamentary Party election schedule published

KATHMANDU: The ruling Nepali Congress will hold elections on Wednesday to select the leader of its parliamentary party.

The Nepali Congress (NC) Working Committee meeting on Sunday decided that the election for the party’s new leader would take place at 8 a.m. on Wednesday.

The voter list is scheduled to be published on Dec 19 (today) at 2 p.m., according to the election program issued by the party’s election program coordinator Bhishmaraj Angdembe.

Time has been allotted for protesting claims from 2.30 pm to 3.00 pm today.

According to the schedule, the final list will be published at 4 p.m. today after an examination of the objections.
