State 1: Committee formed for the acquisition of land to make a permanent structure submitted its report

KATHMANDU: The land management committee formed to create administrative structures for State 1’s capital has submitted its report.
Internal Affairs and Law Minister Kedar Karki, the committee’s coordinator, submitted the report to Chief Minister Rajendra Kumar Rai.
Last year, at the Cabinet meeting on Magh 16 (Jan 30), a working group was formed under the coordination of the Minister of Internal Affairs and Law, Kedar Karki, to create administrative structures for land management in State 1.
During this time, the aforementioned working group issued a public notice and demanded the required land.
According to this, the working group’s coordinator, Minister of Internal Affairs and Law Karki, has stated that land commitments have been received from a variety of sources.
The task force was led by Minister Karki and included chiefs from Biratnagar, Katahari, Gramthan, Boodhiganga, Duhvi, Itahari, and Sundarharaincha. Similarly, the task force’s member secretary was the Secretary of the Government Reform and Coordination Division of the Office of the Chief Minister and Council of Ministers.
