KATHMANDU: The leader of the Rastriya Swatantra Party’s parliamentary party, which has emerged as the fourth power in the House of Representatives, will be chosen today.

A program to congratulate the party’s newly elected MPs was also held today in Maharajganj.
The congratulatory program will begin at 8:30 a.m., according to party spokesperson Mukul Dhakal.
Following that, he said, the selection process for parliamentary party leaders would begin.
Through a direct and proportional election system, the National Independent Party won 20 seats in the House of Representatives.
