No desire to become a minister: Bishwa Prakash Sharma
He stated that rather than becoming a minister, his first priority is to work in remote areas in accordance with the sentiments of ordinary citizens.

KATHMANDU: Bishwa Prakash Sharma, General Minister of the Nepali Congress, has stated that he does not wish to become a minister.
Speaking at the Congress Jhapa Constituency No. 1 Kathmandu Liaison Committee’s ‘honouring ceremony’ in Kathmandu on Saturday, Sharma stated that while everyone aspires to become a minister after winning the election, he has no desire to do so.
He stated that rather than becoming a minister, his first priority is to work in remote areas in accordance with the sentiments of ordinary citizens.
He stated that the Congress, which once had a two-thirds majority on its own, is now limited to 57 seats even if it fights the election together, so becoming a minister immediately after winning the election is not a good idea.
According to Chief Minister Sharma, who will be President is now more important than who will be Prime Minister. He stated that the current need is for a president who is easily accepted by Congress and opposition parties.
