Poor visibility affects domestic flights

Domestic flights in Terai airports may be affected for a few more days, according to TIA Spokesperson Teknath Sitaula, due to low visibility.
Dipendra Kumar Karna, Information Officer at Buddha Air, stated that flights at the majority of Terai airports have been canceled since this morning due to low visibility.
Some airports are expected to be operational after 12:00 p.m., he said, adding that passengers have been experiencing difficulties getting to their destinations as a result of his.
Every day, there are approximately 300 domestic flights. Buddha Air alone operates the highest number of flights in a day which is around 150 flights followed by Yeti Airlines with 58 flights. At the moment, 20 air operator companies, including 11 helicopter companies, are operating domestic flights.
According to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, some places in the Terai belt are experiencing foggy weather today, while the majority of places in hilly areas are cloudy.
Hilly areas in Gandaki, Lumbini, State 1 and Bagmati State will be partly cloudy, while the rest of the states will have mostly clear skies.
The maximum temperature in Kathmandu Valley was 19 degrees Celsius, and the minimum temperature was 7.6 degrees Celsius.
