Ms. Jayati Bansal elected Chairperson of Bank’s Board of Directors

KATHMANDU: Ms. Jayati Bansal, Director representing State Bank of India, was unanimously elected Chairperson of the Board of Directors of Nepal SBI Bank Limited at the 493rd meeting of the Board of Directors of Nepal SBI Bank Limited on Dec 12, 2022.
Ms. Bansal is currently posted as Chief General Manager, International Banking at SBI's International Banking Group, Corporate Office, Mumbai, India. Ms. Bansal is responsible for overseas strategy, business development, operational efficiency, and operations of overseas banking subsidiaries/joint ventures around the world as the Head of International Banking.
Ms. Bansal also took the Oath of Office and Secrecy from Mr. Maha Prasad Adhikari, Governor of Nepal Rastra Bank, during the Oath Taking Ceremony held today at Nepal Rastra Bank, Central Office, Baluwatar, Kathmandu.
Deputy Governor, Mr. Bam Bahadur Mishra, Executive Director, Dr. Gunakar Bhatta, Director, Mr. Mukti Nath Sapkota from Nepal Rastra Bank and Bank’s Directors, Mr. Pinaki Nath Banerjee, Ms. Apsara Upreti, Dr. Gopal Prasad Bhatta, and Managing Director & CEO, Mr. Dipak Kumar De along with Dy. CEO & CFO, Mr. Md. Rizwan Alam, Deputy General Manager, IBG, SBI, Mr. Priya Ranjan, Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Yadvender Kant, Chief Business Development Officer, Mr. Ritesh Aryal and Company Secretary, Mr. Shreedhar Adhikari from NSBL were also present in the ceremony.
