Maoist-led government to be formed within a month: Prachanda

KATHMANDU: Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda,’ Chairperson of the CPN Maoist Center, has stated that the government will be formed within a month.

He claims that the coalition government will remain in place. Prachanda, on the other hand, claims that the Maoists will lead the coalition government.

‘The next government will be led by the CPN-Maoists,’ Prachanda said on Wednesday at a program at Mahendra Basic School in Annapurna Rural Municipality-1 Nagdanda of Kaski in Pokhara.

At the same time, Chairperson Prachanda said that the Nepali Congress was not completely honest as it was estimated that the Maoists would win 25 seats directly, but they won fewer seats.

“As much honesty as we have demonstrated, the Congress has not been able to demonstrate complete honesty,” a central member said, quoting Prachanda.

Maoist Chairperson Prachanda said that the leadership of the Gandaki Province government is also in the coalition that the Maoists should get.
