National Commercial Bank providing training to newly appointed officers.

KATHMANDU: National Commercial Bank has begun training 200 newly appointed officers for a 10-day period of service. Those newly appointed officers who were selected provincially through the Public Service Commission’s written examination and interview have begun full service training in Kathmandu.
Inaugurating the training, Chief Executive Officer of the bank, Kiran Kumar Shrestha, said that since the bank is in the process of transformation, the role of this large number of manpower will be important in implementing the strategy taken by the bank in the competitive market.
He said that the bank once appointed a large number of young officers and provided an opportunity to serve the country and citizens through the banking sector after various processes.
He stated that the bank’s productivity will increase once the recruitment process for more than 600 assistant level employees is completed. According to the Bank’s Staff Service Regulations, Chief Executive Officer Shrestha administered the oath to the newly appointed Assistant Managers, Level 6 and Deputy Managers, Level 7.
At the event, Devendra Raman Khanal, Saraswati Adhikari, and Bhim Prasad Ghimire, Deputy Chief Executive Officers of the Bank, congratulated and wished the newly appointed officers.
The bank currently has 264 branch offices, 268 ATMs and 99 branchless banking services in all seven states and 77 districts.
