Two policemen injured in an accident in Parsa

KATHMANDU: Two people were injured, including a police inspector, when a police vehicle was involved in an accident in Parsa.

Police inspector Shankar Shrestha and constable Manoj Gharti of the Thori area police station were injured in the incident.

Police said that the condition of both the injured persons is normal.

Dhurba Dhakal, chief police inspector of the Parsa district traffic police office, stated that the police vehicle Na 1 Jha 1272 was involved in an accident at Maniharwa on the Birgunj-Thori Highway while attempting to overtake a motorcycle traveling in the opposite direction.
