Jajarkot accident update: Death toll climbes to 11
The jeep fell about 200 meters.
KATHMANDU: The death toll in the Bolero jeep (Karnali State 2001 Ch 0429) accident in Jajarkot’s Bhirpati on Sunday afternoon has risen to 11.
According to the State Police Office Surkhet, a Bolero vehicle accident occurred in Bhirpati between Ward Nos. 4 and 5 of Jajarkot’s Chhedagad Municipality.
The jeep fell about 200 meters.
Man Bahadur Rawat, driver of Bhagawatimai Rural Municipality-2 Dailekh, Surendra KC of Bhagawatimai-3, Amar Bahadur Khadka, Jai Kumar Budha of Chhedagad-5, Nainsara Adhikari, Deepak Adhikari, Devisara Budha, Amar Bahadur Adhikari, 2-year-old girl Nisha Adhikari are among the deceased.
Bir Bahadur Khatri, Ram Bahadur Budha, Amar, and Nisha of Chhedagad-6, who were injured in the accident, died on the way to Nepalgunj for treatment.
The Jaiman Adhikari who was injured in the accident is being treated in Nepalgunj.
