Inauguration of vegetable market in Hetauda

KATHMANDU: A market building for selling vegetables and fruits in Makwanpur’s Hetauda was inaugurated today.

The vegetable market building, which was built in Chauki Tole, Ward 1 of Hetauda Sub-Metropolitan City, was inaugurated by Meena Lama, the sub-metropolitan mayor, and Rajesh Baniyan, the deputy mayor.

According to Hetauda, Nepal Fruits and Vegetable Traders Association, 33 wholesale and 106 retail shop rooms have been built in the vegetable market.

The bazar was built with the investment of the Union and Sub-Metropolitan, according to Manoj Sah, Co-Secretary of the Union.

Co-Secretary Shah stated that the market building was built at a cost of Rs 250,000 from the 106 bus park businessmen and Rs 33 lakh from the sub-metropolitan city with a total cost of 35 lakh 50 thousand.

On that occasion, Mayor Lama stated that Hetauda Sub-Metropolitan City requires everyone’s assistance in order to be organized.
