KATHMANDU: RPP spokesman Mohan Shrestha has said that the president should stop the ordinance brought by the caretaker government.

After the government, led by Sher Bahadur Deuba, decided to bring an ordinance for the release of Tikapur incident accused Resham Chaudhary, spokesperson Mohan Shrestha stated that bringing an ordinance when the new mandate has already arrived is unfair, unethical, and objectionable.

‘Bring an ordinance that has no priority and is now in a temporary state is the filthy beginning of selfish power-centered politics.

Mrs. President, you should put a halt to the ordinance proposed by the caretaker government,’ Shrestha wrote on social media.
