SURKHET: Seven MPs from Karnali State have been included in the final closed list of proportional representation. Karnali State has seven MPs on the final closed list of proportional representation.

Along with the CPN (UML), Nepali Congress (NC), CPN (Maoist Center), Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), and other parties, the parties have finalized the proportional representation of parliamentarians in the House of Representatives (HoR).

The final closed list of proportionality includes 3 NC MPs, 2 CPN-UML MPs, 2 CPN Maoist Center MPs, and one each 7 RSP  MPs from Karnali State.

Kantika Sejuwal of Jumla and Maina Rawal of Jajarkot have been elected as MPs from the women Khas Arya backward areas by the Nepali Congress.

Similarly, Sita Kumari Rana of Dailekh was elected as a member of the tribal tribe. In the final closed list of proportional MPs, the CPN-UML has recommended Surya Kumari Shrestha of Dailekh for tribals and Chandra Bahadur Bishwakarma of Rukum West for Dalits.

Likewise, the National Independent Party has finalized Chhiring Lamu Lama Tamang of Humla as a proportional MP for tribal women and Binita Kathayat of Jumla as a proportional MP for backward region women.
