Croatia’s Nikola Vlasic, Lovro Majer, Luka Modric, and Mislav Orsic scored from the penalty.
Brazil’s Casemiro and Pedro scored. However, Rodrygo and Marquinhos missed the penalty.
Prior to that, Neymar scored a goal in the first half of extra time to give Brazil the lead. He scored from Paqueta’s pass in the 105th + 1st minute.
With this goal, Neymar equaled Pele’s record as Brazil’s all-time leading scorer. Neymar has scored his 77th goal for Brazil. Pele also had a total of 77 goals.
Bruno Petkovic scored in the 117th minute of the game, bringing Croatia to a 1-1 tie.
After 30 minutes of extra time, the match ended in a 1-1 draw, and the decision of the match was made by penalty shootout.
