Parliament’s General Secretary lifting JB Rana’s suspension is treason: Senior Advocate Shambhu Thapa
He made these allegations while speaking during the debate on the writ filed by General Secretary of the Federal Parliament Gautam against the ineffective letter suspending Chief Justice JB Rana.
KATHMANDU: Senior Advocate Shambhu Thapa has claimed that the suspended Chief Justice Cholendra Shumsher JB Rana and the General Secretary of the Parliament, Bharatraj Gautam, conspired to release him from suspension.
He made these allegations while speaking during the debate on the writ filed by General Secretary of the Federal Parliament Gautam against the ineffective letter suspending Chief Justice JB Rana.
‘There is an evil fraudulent collusion between the two people,’ he claims. Already, there is collusion. How else can it be registered? ‘
Senior advocate Thapa termed JB Rana’s ineffectiveness of suspension as treason. He said, ‘This is treason and it is an act of disrupting the constitutional system.’ His question is, ‘What did Rana try to do by bringing the petition to the Parliament?’
