Constituent bench to hear writs of JB Rana

KATHMANDU: A constitutional bench has been formed to hear the writ filed against Chief Justice Cholendra Shumsher JB Rana’s suspension.

The Supreme Court constituted a constitutional bench under the leadership of Permanent Chief Justice Hari Krishna Karki.

Senior Judge Bishowambhar Prasad Shrestha, Judges Ishwar Prasad Khatiwada, Anand Mohan Bhattarai and Anil Kumar Sinha are in the constituted bench.

This constitutional bench will hear the writ petition filed by the General Secretary of the Federal Parliament, Bharatraj Gautam, against CJ Rana’s letter lifting the suspension.
