Jeep accident in Baitadi, driver dies

KATHMANDU: The driver died in a jeep accident in Baitadi.

Tej Bahadur Saund, 36, of Navadurga Rural Municipality-5 Ukali in Dadeldhura, has been identified as the deceased.

Last night, on his way home from Anarkholi in Dadeldhura, Saund, who was driving a jeep with the registration number SE1J 816, was involved in an accident in Patan Municipality-10 Danseli.

The driver of the jeep, according to Baitadi Police Spokesperson Police Inspector Lokraj Joshi, fell down about 150 meters from the road.

There were no other passengers on jeep.
