BYD partners with Nabil Bank for easy EV financing
This collaboration aims to provide simple retail financing to customers interested in purchasing BYD vehicles.
KATHMANDU: Cimex Inc. Pvt. Ltd., the authorized distributor of BYD Auto Industry Co. Ltd. in Nepal, and Nabil Bank signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Wednesday, Dec 7, 2022, to collaborate for EV financing of BYD vehicles.
Nabil Bank will provide up to 80 percent bank financing on BYD electric vehicles.
This collaboration aims to provide simple retail financing to customers interested in purchasing BYD vehicles.
Customers will have easy access to loan facilities from all Nabil Bank branches with an interest rate of 12.99 percent for up to 7 years, according to the agreement. Customers can now own a BYD electric vehicle with just a 20% down payment.
The loan will be issued in accordance with Nepal Rastra Bank’s relevant directives and guidelines.
Cimex is offering the BYD ATTO 3 (NRs. 89.9 lakhs), Nepal’s first sporty electric SUV, and the BYD All-New e6 (NRs. 59 lakhs), Nepal’s longest range EV.
