NC leader Nidhi & Swiss ambassador meet

KATHMANDU: Former Nepali Congress (NC) vice-president Bimalendra Nidhi and Swiss Ambassador to Nepal, Ms Elisabeth von Capeller, met today at the former’s residence in New Baneshwor.
Among various topics, they discussed the recently held House of Representatives (HoR) and State Assembly (SA) elections, as well as constitution implementation, according to Nidhi’s private secretariat.
Ambassador von Capeller stated on the occasion that the Swiss government is always ready to assist Nepal in successfully implementing the federal governance system and constitution.
The Swiss ambassador also emphasized the importance of creating an investment-friendly environment in Nepal in order to attract additional investment in agriculture and hydropower development.
Leader Nidhi thanked the Swiss government and people for their assistance in promoting federalism and Nepal’s development efforts.
He urged the Swiss government to continue its support for Nepal’s development as the country prepares to transition from the status of least developed country to developing country.
