Nine people including Sonu Tamang arrested for gambling

KATHMANDU: Last night, the police arrested 9 people, including Sonu Tamang, 29, a resident of Kavre Panchkhaal Municipality-8, while gambling inside the first-floor apartment of Kathmandu Villa and Bar, which was run by Suraj Tamang, located in Paknajol, Kathmandu Metropolitan City-16.

Based on a information, police from Lainchaur police circle discovered them and arrested them, along with 69,600 rupees in cash and three decks of cards.

The police are conducting necessary investigations in this regard.
