Petition in SC stating that the letter given by Secretary General of Parliament is unlawful

KATHMANDU: The letter given by the General Secretary of the Parliament has been appealed to the Supreme Court (SC) saying that it is illegal.

A writ petition has been filed in the Supreme Court alleging that the letter issued by the General Secretary of the Federal Parliament, Bharatraj Gautam, stating that the impeachment proposal against Chief Justice Cholendra Shumsher JB Rana is ineffective, is unlawful.

Purnaman Shakya, Chairperson of the Supreme Bar Association, and other officials filed a writ petition in the SC.

Such is the petition
