KATHMANDU: On Wednesday, Akhil (Revolutionary), a student organization affiliated with the CPN (Revolutionary Maoist) and close to Mohan Baidya, demonstrated in front of the Indian Embassy in Lainchaur.

They protested that India had built a concrete embankment on the banks of the Mahakali River and had turned the river waves towards Nepal unilaterally.

During the protest, they chanted slogans opposing Indian encroachment and excesses.
