KATHMANDU: A bird collided with a Tara Air plane flying from Nepalgunj to Humla.

The cargo plane was smashed by a bird near Mune Lake in Adanchuli Rural Municipality of Humla at around 1 p.m., according to Tara Air. The collision has caused minor damage to the aircraft’s front end.

The plane landed safely at Simkot airport despite the collision.

There were three people on board: the pilot, the co-pilot, and the air hostess.
