World Cup League 2: Nepal bowls against Namibia after winning toss

KATHMANDU: After winning the toss, Nepal bowled first against the home team in the third match of the ongoing series in Namibia under the ICC World Cup League-2 on Wednesday.

Following the cancellation of Nepal’s first match against Namibia due to rain, both teams shared one point. Nepal was defeated by Scotland by three wickets in the second match.

The Nepali team currently sits sixth in the World Cup League-2 standings with 18 points from 22 games. Namibia is third with 35 points from 29 games.

Out of the 7 teams participating in the tournament, the top three teams will qualify for the World One Day World Cup. The remaining four teams have to play a play-off for the World level qualification.
