Impeachment proceeding against CJ Rana gets lifted, plans to return SC today
He applied to the Parliament Secretariat to get his suspension lifted.
KATHMANDU: The impeachment motion filed against Chief Justice Cholendra Shumsher JB Rana has lapsed.
Dr. Bharatraj Gautam, General Secretary of the Parliament Secretariat has sent a letter to JB Rana that the impeachment proposal was inactive.
JB Rana’s suspension has been lifted as well. He applied to the Parliament Secretariat to get his suspension lifted.
He plans to return to the Supreme Court (SC) today after the suspension is lifted.
