Meteorologist urged to avoid cold
The department has issued a warning and advisory in this regard for the next 24 hours.
KATHMANDU: There is currently no significant weather system in the country, according to the Weather Forecast Division.
According to the department, the weather is generally clear in a few places in the country’s hilly areas with partly cloudy skies at this time on Wednesday morning.
Similarly, the weather will be generally clear this afternoon in the hilly parts of State 1 and Gandaki State, as well as in Lumbini State, and will remain generally clear.
According to the division, the weather will be partly cloudy during the night in State 1, Bagmati State, and Gandaki State. The department stated that the temperature is decreasing and increasing on a daily basis.

In which case it is stated. As there is a chance of fog in the Terai region and the temperature gradually dropping in most parts of the country, it is recommended that people take the necessary precautions to avoid getting cold.
Meanwhile, Binu Maharjan, a meteorologist with the division, reported that the minimum temperature in Kathmandu valley was 7 degrees Celsius as of 5:45 a.m. today.
