Clash broke out in Bara’s Simraungad due to a dispute over fertilizer distribution
The time for applying for distribution of the fertilizer received by the ward office was fixed from Dec 1 to 4.
KATHMANDU: Two parties clashed in Simraungadh, Bara, over the issue of manure. Ward No. 4 of Simraungadh Municipality had a disagreement during the submission of an application for distribution of chemical fertilizers received by the office.
The time for applying for distribution of the fertilizer received by the ward office was fixed from Dec 1 to 4.
However, some farmers reached at the office with their applications in the afternoon of Dec 4, the application’s deadline. The office, on the other hand, was closed. They claimed that the office was supposed to be open until 4 p.m., and that closing it earlier prevented them from taking the manure.
A disagreement arose between them and the other party during the unlocking office on Tuesday.
As both sides were fighting with sticks, the office lock could not be opened.
