Demonstration in front of metropolitan office

KATHMANDU: A demonstration was held in front of the Kathmandu Metropolitan City office on Tuesday demanding the removal of fake squatters and proper management of genuine squatters.

The Valley Residents Management and Support Struggle Committee has demanded that the fake squatters be identified as occupying the land of Thapathali and take action against them.

“By removing the settlements of the alleged squatter, the metropolitan should not back down even an inch in creating the beauty, peace, and friendly environment of the valley,” the attention letter stated.

After demonstrating in front of the city, the committee submitted a letter of attention to Mayor Balendra Shah.
