KATHMANDU: It has been agreed to maintain the power coalition. This decision was made at the alliance’s first meeting following the election.
Nepali Congress (NC) leader Gyanendra Bahadur Karki, who attended in the meeting at Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba’s official residence, said.
According to him, the country will now have a coalition government.
He stated that if they do not have a majority to form a government, other parties will join this coalition.
Following the meeting, the alliance issued a joint statement stating that it will proceed.
Cooperation will be strengthened across the country, according to the statement.
