Motorcyclist killed in tipper collision in Butwal

KATHMANDU: On Monday morning, a motorcyclist (LU 20 P 1957) was killed when he was hit by a tipper (RA 1 B 713) in Butwal.

The deceased has been identified as Salikram Sharma Marasini, 38, of Butwal Sub-Metropolitan City-16 Semalar.

The collision occurred on a road in Suddhodhan Rural Municipality-2 Hirapur.

He sustained serious injuries in the collision and died while being treated at Lumbini State Hospital Butwal.

The tipper driver been nabbed and further investigations into the incident is underway, says police.
