In Pics: Student demonstration against gender violence

KATHMANDU: Kathmandu School of Law students held a peaceful rally today as part of the 16-day campaign against gender violence.

The rally, organized by the school’s extracurricular activities department, began in New Baneshwor and ended in Maitighar.

The rally was attended by college teachers and students.

Various organizations have been organizing various programs on women’s rights since the start of the 16-day campaign against violence against women. Every year, from November 25 to December 10, a 16-day campaign against gender violence is held.

This year, the program will be held across the country under the slogan “Start at home, end violence against women.”
