KATHMANDU: About 3-years-old child drowns in pond in Janakpur on Sunday afternoon.
Atikshya Kumari Patel, the daughter of Vijay Patel, a resident of Janakpur Sub-Metropolitan City-8 Agni Kund, has been identified as the deceased child.
She suffered serious injuries after drowning in the pond and died on the way to the state hospital in Janakpur for treatment.
The police are conducting the necessary investigations in this regard.
