Army Vehicle Crashed: 15 injured, 4 in serious condition

KATHMANDU: A Nepali army vehicle crashed on the Ranke-Rabi-Bhedetar road section in Panchthar’s Miklajung rural municipality-6, injuring 15 people.

According to SP Nabinraj Rai of State 1 Police Office Biratnagar, a Nepali Army Wanton vehicle numbered Ba 1 C 3442, which was traveling from Panchthar’s Miklajung Rural Municipality-8 to Ransher Gana of Fidim on Wednesday, was involved in an accident on Sunday afternoon.
According to police, the vehicle transporting the transferred military personnel lost control and crashed approximately 150 meters from the road. The vehicle held 18 people. 15 of them sustained injuries.
Thirteen of the injured were airlifted to the army hospital camp in Kathmandu and are being treated.
Two other people are being treated at Biratnagar’s Nobel Hospital.
