Cooperation with UML has ended: Upendra Yadav

KATHMANDU: Upendra Yadav, the chairperson of the Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP), has announced that the party’s collaboration with the CPN-UML has ended.

Yadav stated this to reporters at Biratnagar Airport.

“We had coordinated with UML in some areas during the elections, but the course of cooperation has ended,” Yadav explained.

In some areas, JSP participated in the elections in collaboration with UML. However, the party was unable to produce the desired results. Chairperson Yadav was defeated by Janamat Party Chairperson CK Raut in Saptari 2 by a large margin of votes.

Yadav stated that the party’s role and position in the formation of the new government has yet to be determined.
