Since Dolpa was connected to the national road network five years ago, the number of domestic and international tourists visiting Dolpa has been steadily increasing.
Tourist attractions in Dolpa include Shey Phoksundo Lake, known as Nepal’s “blue diamond,” Tripura Sundari Temple, Shey-Gumba, Dho Valley, Charkabhot, and Jagdulla Lake.
Shey-Phoksundo National Park reported that over 3,000 tourists visited Shey-Phoksundo Lake in the current fiscal year.
Tourists want to visit Dolpa because it is far ahead in terms of religious, cultural, and touristic beauty.
