Suspicious object found outside Baskota’s house contained no explosives

KATHMANDU: The suspicious object found outside the house of former minister and UML leader Gokul Baskota contained no explosives, according to authorities.

A suspicious object resembling a bomb was found in a box of MP Baskota’s house in Bhaktapur’s Lokantali on Sunday morning.

The Nepali Army’s bomb disposal team arrived at the scene and investigated, concluding that the suspicious object was no explosives, according to police.

The pressure cooker contained no explosives, according to the police.
