Ajit Shah re-approved as chairperson of AmCham

KATHMANDU: The American Chamber of Commerce Nepal (AmCham), a network of businesses operating in Nepal with American investment, has completed its first annual general meeting.
The chairperson and members of the board of directors were re-approved by the general meeting until the next general meeting.
The committee consists of Chamber Chairperson Ajit Shah, Vice Chairperson Nirmal Kaji Shrestha, Treasurer Kailash Vijayanand, and members Atulya Risal, Asheem Man Singh Basnyat, Akash Golchha, Jayden Shrestha, and Semanta Dahal.
Speaking at the meeting, AmCham Nepal Chairperson Shah stated that the development of American Chambers of Commerce Nepal was made possible by the strong cooperation of member companies, regional networks, the US Chamber of Commerce, and the US Embassy in Nepal. ‘We have made good progress in the Economic Committee, Policy and Advocacy Committee, and Network Committee throughout the year,’ he added, citing data from a survey of our members.
