Switzerland beat Serbia to reach the last 16

KATHMANDU: Switzerland qualified for the knockout stage of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 after finishing second in Group G.

Switzerland advanced to the World Cup round of 16 after defeating Serbia 3-2 in the group stage.

Brazil advanced to the Round of 16 from Group G by finishing first with 6 points in 3 games, while Switzerland advanced to the Round of 16 by finishing second in the group with 6 points in 3 games.

Brazil will now face South Korea in round 16, while Switzerland will face Portugal.
