Cameroon stun Brazil – but crash out of World Cup

KATHMANDU: Under the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, Brazil has entered the knockout stage as the group winner from Group G.

Despite losing 1-0 to Cameroon in the last match of the group stage, Brazil won the group.

Brazil put Cameroon under pressure on Friday at the Lusail Stadium but failed to score. Cameron took the lead in the second minute of injury time. Despite this loss, Brazil won the group.

Brazil topped the group with 6 points from 3 matches. Switzerland became the group runner-up with 6 points. Despite the same points, Brazil (+2) was one goal ahead of the Swiss team (+1). Cameroon was third with 4 points, while Serbia was at the bottom with 1 point.
