State 1: Three CPN-S members saved fame

KATHMANDU: Three members of the CPN (Unified Socialist Party) have managed to maintain their reputation in State 1.

In the completed State Assembly elections, only three members of the CPN (Unified Socialists) triumphs.

Following the dissolution of the UML, CPN (Unified Socialist) were included in the chief ministerial category. According to the current election results, the CPN (Unified Socialists) appear to be on the defensive.

CPN (Unified Socialists) had been nominated in 11 National Assembly constituencies when the power coalition was split. Only three of them have been won.

Two of them have the same expressions. One person represents the state government in a new light.

Rajendra Kumar Rai, Secretary of the CPN (Unified Socialists) and Chief Minister of State 1, was elected as Chief Minister of State 1 from Bhojpur.

Similarly, Ilam’s Minister of Tourism, Khinu Langwa, was re-elected to the State Assembly.

Kamal Prasad Jabegu from Panchthar is the new face. He was elected to the Panchthar State Assembly with the support of Ganesh Kambang, the previous Panchthar state parliamentarian.
